I can only catch the first Pokémon I find on each Route. 3. No items in battle (except held items) 4. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the start of the battle) 5. Play in "Set" mode EXTRA RULES: 1. No grinding at all (no EV training, no EXP training) 2. MAX 36 encounters for harder teambuilding 3. Must start with Slugma on attempt one, choose between Slugma and Goldeen on attempt two, and a free starter choice from attempt three QOL HACKS: 1. Rare Candy cheat from the beginning 2.
