Soon after arriving at the bottom of Dantius Tower Two, you will encounter your first enemy mechs. After dealing with them, you will head towards an elevator and notice a salarian worker lying on the floor. After your squadmates briefly assess his condition, you may question him. After some time he will start coughing and having trouble breathing, some of your squadmates will encourage you to help him and warn you that he wouldn't make it otherwise. If you miss out on the Paragon interrupt, there is still a way to save him by picking the Paragon dialogue option. Your squadmates will be impressed by Shepard's power to heal with words. Picking the Paragon interrupt will cause some of your squadmates to be disappointed in your choices or urge you to keep on moving. If you skip both the Paragon interrupt and the dialogue option and pick the Renegade one instead, Shepard will leave the worker to his fate. As the salarian begs you to find the others, some of your squadmates will try convincing Shepard not to abandon him, others will dismiss their pleas. If no one is there to question your moral choices, Shepard will answer the salarian themselves, leaving him to die.
