Fr. John Corapi ~ THE EASTER TRIDUUM ~ Holy Thursday

/ fathercorapicatholicchannel   "God's Blessings to you, we today begin the most solemn period in the Church's Liturgical Calendar. Today we enter into what's called the Easter Triduum, or The Paschal Mystery. A strict unity.. Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday.. leading of course towards Easter. The Passion, the Death and the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, this is the focal point of our Faith, this is what our whole life revolves around. Holy Thursday, that Holy night when our Lord gathered His Apostles around Him, when He established the Priesthood and the Blessed Eucharist...." ...."In the end we will end up one of two ways..and let's get it straight! You are going to be a Winner or a Loser, so am I, and this is the Ultimate Battle! There is no failure in a human life other than to fail to achieve Supernatural Life.. that's the only REAL failure! Oh, you may fail in business, you may have failures in your family, you may have failures in a thousand-and-one things..the only Definitive Failure is Eternal Damnation, as the Holy Father has taught. To fail to enter into Union with The Trinity, that's the bottom line, that is why we are on the face of the earth, to enter into Union with The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, that's where we end up, in Heaven, that's The Beatific Vision, to see God face to face, and there's only one way, there's only one way to enter into Union with The Most Holy Trinity, and that is through, with, and in The Lord Jesus Christ..He is The Way, it doesn't say there are many ways..ultimately, absolutely, and objectively there is one way, and that way isn't 'something', that way is 'Somebody'..AND HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST!" ..Father John Corapi. ~ THE EASTER TRIDUUM ~ Fr. John Corapi delivers a 3-part series on the profound spiritual significance of the events of Holy Week. In these three talks on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday, he inspires us to enter more deeply into this most solemn period of the Church's liturgical year, and to meditate more fully on the focal point of our Faith - Christ's Passion, Death and Resurrection.
