R-TYPE - [NINTENDO GAMEBOY] - HARD Difficulty (1 Life Clear)

Released in May 1991. This game is based on the Arcade game of the same title. It is developed by B.I.T.S. and licensed by Nintendo. Published by Irem. I present to you a full playthrough/walkthrough of "R-Type" for the 'Original' Nintendo Gameboy system(Black+White Monochrome). This video shows completion all in one sitting from beginning to end on Hard Difficulty and without ever getting killed or using Any Continues. Had I lost any Lives I'd had to restart and do the entire recording from scratch starting on Stage 1. The game gets difficult when you die at the worst possible locations with swarms of enemies, and your upgrades are all gone from simply losing a Life. Misc. Notes: *I might make another version again when I have time and only after I feel there is enough feedback and support from YouTube users' comments. Other reason is to confirm that this wasn't a fluke. Then again, I'd have to say I got pretty lucky on Stages 4 and 5, as I find them to be the hardest part of the game. *Game was never Paused for any reason. *Took multiple attempts to learn all the levels of the game and find the safest approach at completing them. So that means I failed way more times till I finally got a successful recorded session. *No Cheats (I don't even know if there are any that exist) *No Auto-Fire *No Save States (I find this game to be too short anyway) *No Frames manipulation, only Accurate Normal Emulated Speed; no Frames skipped nor slowing down while recording gameplay *Had I played the game on Easy difficult I would have to go through the game a second time on hard for the True ending text to appear. *Played on Hard difficulty (It's shown at the beginning, but anyways it would be more interesting if the CPU opponents are actually at their best.)
