As the war with Hamas rages on, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says a cease fire is not an option. Israel is now in its second stage of its war against Hamas. This comes as the IDF says that a female soldier who was captured by Hamas on October 7th has been freed. Hamas and other groups are believed to be holding around 240 captives and they released a video today purporting to show three female hostages. This as attacks continue on Gaza and Israel expands its ground operations. Spokesperson for the Israeli Government, Tal Heinrich, joins to tell us what that entails and why one senior Israeli official says it might take months. On Monday, the Israeli military said infantry, tanks and armored units are attempting to move toward groups of armed Palestinian operatives inside Gaza. Heinrich discusses how many Israeli troops are now inside Gaza and how far they are. There are videos emerging on social media purporting to show Israeli armed vehicles on Salah Al-Din street, the main north-south route in the heart of the Gaza strip firing on a passenger vehicle. Heinrich comments on that. Unfortunately, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs said a 23-year-old German-Israeli woman kidnapped by Hamas gunmen during the October 7th attack has been found dead. Heinrich shares more about the status of the hostages. She fills us in on what else she is covering on the war. ------------ EWTN News Nightly provides the latest news and analysis from a Catholic perspective.
