Silver Sablinova, also known as Silver Sable, is a major antagonist in Marvel's Spider-Man and a supporting character in its downloadable content campaign The City That Never Sleeps. She is the leader of the international mercenary company Sable International, as well as the princess of the Symkarian royal family. Sable and her team are hired by Mayor Norman Osborn to bring order to the city against the Inner Demons. Initially heavily mistrusting of Spider-Man, Sable acts in opposition to him despite sharing his goals and enemies. She eventually builds a begrudging respect for him and the two form an alliance against Hammerhead. Marvel's Spider-Man is an open-world action-adventure game set in the borough of Manhattan in a fictionalized version of modern-day New York City. It is presented from a third-person perspective showing the playable character and allowing the camera to be rotated freely around them. The primary playable character is the superhero Spider-Man, who can navigate the world by jumping, using his web shooters to fire webs that allow him to swing between buildings, running along walls and automatically vaulting over obstacles. Webs can be precisely aimed to pull the player towards specific points. Physical objects are required to attach webs to for swinging, and momentum and speed of the swing can be controlled by releasing the web at specific points to gain height or move more quickly.
