David Gilmour is a renowned English musician, best known as the guitarist, co-lead vocalist, and one of the primary songwriters for the legendary rock band Pink Floyd. Born on March 6, 1946, Gilmour joined Pink Floyd in 1968, becoming an integral part of the band's success. This performance took place at the Gdańsk Shipyard on August 26, 2006, in Gdansk, Poland. This concert was part of Gilmour's "On an Island" tour, promoting his third solo album of the same name. "Astronomy Domine" is originally from Pink Floyd's debut album, "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn," released in 1967.
