Sometimes we just need a little extra help when it comes to getting from Point A to Point B. In this video we offer some simple instructions on traveling from Tokyo to Nikko. We had a little apprehension ourselves as we planned our weekend trip to Nikko. Where exactly do we pick up our tickets? How do we find our train? Is there food available? We try to show you everything that would've made our trip a little easier on this jaunt aboard a Japanese express train. This is a special discounted railway and bus pass that is only available to foreign visitors (a way to lure potential tourists). It gets you from the Asakusa train station in Tokyo to the Nikko train station. And while you're in Nikko it also covers all the rides you want to take on the vast system of buses. It's an awesome way to visit the many onsens, towns and viewpoints throughout the mountainous area.
