Counterfeit Airpods Pro - Vlogmas 2020 - Ep 12
In September 2020 I bought some 'brand new, unopened' AirPods Pro from a Craig's List seller for $140.00. They worked OK for about a couple of weeks. Then they wouldn't stay connected. I called Apple, and read off the serial number. Turns out that these counterfeiters use that same number over and over! Here it is: H1CCHCAMLKKT PS: I'm not sure if the girl that sold them to me knew if they were fake or not. She said she was 'selling them for somebody' and even texted me the day after to make sure they were OK. Of course now she's not returning texts or phone calls. I have her phone number, and her license plate from her Jeep. I also found the VIN on her car, so finding her would be relatively easy. But it would cost me 75 bucks to file a small claim, then another 60 to have her served by a constable. I may send her this video just so she knows that I know.
