System Of A Down released what seems to be their final studio album, “Mezmerize“.... sadly to say ... to celebrate this milestone, the band looked back ... .. at that closing chapter of the “Mezmerize” and “Hypnotize” double release ... technically ... with a video retrospective shared on their social media. see below.. watch video here https://x.com/systemofadown/status/19... watch here facebook   / 2555722804801052   plus 20th anniv merch   / 1416373319852506   fans have been eagerly waiting a nw album for 20 yeras ... ..however the band cannot get along enough to make one .. the songwriting and business side of the band has largely prevented them from returning to the studio to deliver a follow-up. also seems some members of the band distance themselves from the idea of attempting to write together or like each others ideas enough ... with primary songwriter, guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian and drummer John Dolmayan expressing their frustrations ... they do however get along enough to play live toghether .. and have dropped some solo albums ..
