I didn’t know it then, but I’d embark on the most wonderful sourdough journey, because bread is an art and it’s gifted me the ability to get creative. I would give both the saw and the knife 5 stars. What’s your sourdough starter’s name? There are so many reasons to love Ballerina Farm, I love her content because it's giving us all something we didn't know we needed; pictures of nature, food & community amongst her family, friends and business partners. Her life is something that we all need, in our survival brains, abundance. If you're on the market for a bread knife or bread bow or bread saw, I suggest asking yourself what your current budget is and pick whichever is in your budget. This I love about the Ballerina Farm Bread bow; it's natural wood & beautiful aesthetic supporting a family owned business that shares and teaches people (especially mothers!) how to do sourdough vs things I don't love about it; it was pricey! it drags the bread a bit as I'm cutting through it Things I love about the Amazon sourdough bread knife; it was affordable it works really really well vs things I don't love about it; it's not from a small business it's not made of natural materials I hope you find the sourdough tools you love, without breaking the bank. We used to pull our bread apart and honestly, if we didn't have a bread knife, we could still do this. Tools are fun and great, but at the end of the day, half of what we have in our house is mostly for comfort and not necessarily a 'need'. Go with your gut on which one to choose.
