Titus 1:7-9: For a bishop must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded, just, holy, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict. Today's study discusses the qualifications of a spiritual leader according to scripture and how Erwin Smith provides an excellent illustration of them. We will discuss how the Christian life is only as effective as it's ability to hand it off to the next generation, how the message we give is only as impactful as the example we set, and how faith in God is vital in order to consider serving Him as its own reward.
