An Afghan woman identified as Fatima was among the thousands in Afghanistan attempting to flee the country at the Kabul airport after the Taliban’s takeover. After sharing her story of wanting to leave the country due to the potential lack of rights for women under Taliban rule, a journalist explained to British soldiers Fatima’s situation and helped usher her and her daughter inside the airport to evacuate.
