Wednesday morning tropical update: 2 areas to keep an eye on

Payton Malone has the Wednesday Morning Tropical Update and says there is one area in particular looks as though it will be headed for the Caribbean by the end of this week. Watching a few things in the tropics. A wave coming off the continent of Africa could develop by the end of this week, but it's so far away we aren't currently worried about it. Another areas of disturbed weather is off the coast of South America. It will head toward the Caribbean this weekend. While development doesn't look very likely through Thursday, this weekend wind shear will decrease and it will have a chance to organize in the eastern Caribbean south of Puerto Rico. Beyond that it's hard to say what it will do, but we'll want to keep an eye on it. Regardless of if the disturbance develops, we have plenty of time to watch it. IF it tries to get into the Gulf that wouldn't happen until the middle of next week. We'll keep you posted.
