Prince Rama Varma - Veena - Kripaya Palaya

Serene, pure and melodious rendition of Maharaja Swathi Thirunal Rama Varma's famous composition in Raga Charukesi, Kripaya Palaya Shaure on the Saraswathy Veena by Prince Rama Varma on Maharaja's Birth Anniversary (April 16th) during the month long lockdown at home during the Corona Virus Crisis in April 2020. I just love the peaceful, non flamboyant way that he plays the veena, totally devoid of the aberration in the sound that certain kinds of amplification cause. I hope he will play a nice, long, Ragamalika Thaanam too one of these days. That would be such a treat!
