Garish promo wraps aside, at first glance there appears to be little separating Ford's Transit Custom from Renault's Trafic. Both are medium vans and both are powered by four-cylinder turbo-diesels. They're also both designed to shift a tonne or more with maximum efficiency, yet also with more than a passing nod to driver comfort and safety.
