Kuldeep Bishnoi has achieved success in his life with struggle. Kuldeep started participating in politics at a very young age, but he started his active political journey in the year 1987. Kuldeep Bishnoi contested his first election in the year 1998 and was elected MLA. This was the first time in the political history of Haryana that this by-election was won by a leader of an opposition party. Kuldeep Bishnoi had won this victory in a very difficult by-election while learning the tricks of politics under the tutelage of his father. Born in an active political family, Kuldeep Bishnoi was a Member of Parliament from Bhiwani (Haryana) and he won his first Lok Sabha election from here. This was an extraordinary achievement because after a gap of 15 years, the Congress party candidate won this seat, at that time Kuldeep Bishnoi used to be the rising face of the Congress. Kuldeep Bishnoi inherited these political qualities from his father. He believes in politics based on essential issues and works in public interest, and has a modern and progressive outlook on every kind of issue. Kuldeep ji's progressive outlook and the genetic political abilities received from his father and his belief in clean politics are automatically making him take his father's political achievements even further. But the 2004 Bhiwani parliamentary election proved to be a milestone in Kuldeep Bishnoi's political career. In this tough parliamentary election, Kuldeep defeated former Chief Minister Bansi Lal's son Surinder Singh in his own home and achieved a historic victory and wrote his name in golden letters. In the same 2004 elections, Kuldeep Bishnoi registered another historic victory by defeating former Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala's son Ajay Chautala in the election. However, his happiness soon turned into hard work. The 2005 assembly election was fought under the leadership of Chaudhary Bhajan Lal. Congress won an absolute majority with 67 seats and handed over the command of the state to Bhupendra Singh Hooda by making him the leader of the party legislative party instead of Bhajan Lal. After this, Bhajan Lal was upset with the Congress. After this, Bhajan Lal and his son Kuldeep Bishnoi announced their decision to leave the Congress by holding a big rally in Rohtak on 2 December 2007. HJC (BL) was also formed on the same day. The party opened its account by winning one seat in the Lok Sabha elections, while HJC got six seats in the assembly elections. Although after the betrayal of all his MLAs, Kuldeep kept quiet for a long time to understand the game of politics, but it is believed that as Rahul Gandhi became more active in politics, Kuldeep Bishnoi's closeness with Rahul paid off and at the behest of Rahul Gandhi, he merged HJK with Congress.
