GTA 5 Walkthrough | #46 The Paleto Score | Gameplay PC Keyboard and Mouse

‪@GrandpaGTA‬ "The Paleto Score" is a major heist mission in Grand Theft Auto V, directly following the "Paleto Score Setup" and "Military Hardware" missions. It involves Michael, Trevor, Franklin, Lester, and their chosen gunman executing their plan to rob the Blaine County Savings Bank in Paleto Bay. Here's a detailed breakdown of the chaotic and heavily armed robbery: The Setup: The heist crew (Michael, Trevor, Lester, Franklin, and the hired gunman) meets at Trevor's meth lab in Sandy Shores to finalize their plan. The Heist: Michael drives the entire crew to Paleto Bay in a van. During the journey, the group reminisces about their early criminal exploits. Michael drops Franklin off near the sea in Paleto Bay, where he will be positioned for the later escape. Michael, Trevor, and the chosen gunman proceed to the Blaine County Savings Bank. Trevor immediately shoots a security camera inside the bank, triggering the alarm. The gunman uses a blowtorch to cut open the door to the safety deposit box room, while Michael and Trevor control the bank staff and any customers, acting as hostages. Once the vault door is unlocked, Michael kicks it open, and the trio begins collecting the cash – a substantial sum of $8,016,020. Local police arrive, initially believing it's another false alarm (a result of their earlier setup). Trevor fires a warning shot to make it clear they have hostages and are serious. The officers realize the situation is a "2-11" (robbery in progress) and request backup. Heavily armed with military-grade weaponry and body armor (acquired in the "Military Hardware" mission), Michael, Trevor, and the gunman fight their way out of the bank, immediately gaining a five-star wanted level. As they battle the police outside, a police helicopter begins to pursue them. Trevor manages to shoot it down. Overwhelmed by the increasing police reinforcements, the group makes their escape by fighting through a nearby apartment building. Franklin informs the group that the bay is swarming with police, necessitating a change in their escape route. The trio continues to battle waves of police officers and NOOSE teams as they move through Paleto Bay. The group eventually fights their way into a construction site. At the construction site, the National Guard arrives, escalating the conflict significantly. If an unskilled and cheaper gunman was chosen, they will likely be crushed by a police car at the construction site and become incapacitated. The player can choose to pick up their share of the take ($2.5 million) at this point for the maximum possible loot. The Military deploys a tank to aid their efforts to stop the robbers. Franklin improvises a new escape plan. He commandeers a Dozer bulldozer from a nearby construction company and drives it towards Michael, Trevor, and the gunman, plowing through police and military personnel who try to block his path. The remaining members of the crew (Michael, Trevor, and the gunman if they survived) climb onto the front of the Dozer with Franklin. More tanks are in pursuit, so Franklin drives the Dozer into a nearby Cluckin' Bell factory for cover. The group continues to fight through more soldiers inside the factory. If the gunman is still alive, they will often hang back to provide cover fire and attempt to find their own way out. The gang eventually makes their escape by jumping onto a passing freight train that runs alongside the factory. The train arrives in Sandy Shores, where the exhausted trio disembarks. They are met by Agent Sanchez from the FIB, who takes the FIB's cut of the stolen money. The group splits up. Trevor and Franklin drive away together in a Utility truck, leaving Michael to his own devices for the time being. The Paleto Score: Best Crew & Maximum Revenue: Although a cheap gunman will be killed and make casualty expenses, it is still a lesser expense than Packie, Chef or Gus cost. It is best to use Norm Richards (10.5%) as it is better to save Daryl Johns (9%) for the Big Score. Gold Medal Objectives (100%) The following are the Mission Objectives required to obtain the Gold Medal in the mission "The Paleto Score": Let it Rain: Fire over 4000 bullets. Use Trevor's minigun as much as possible. Accuracy: Finish with a shooting accuracy of at least 50%. Concentrate on body shots, and use Michael's ability. Time: Complete within 16:00. Skip cutscenes, and avoid standing still during the shootouts. Collateral Damage: Cause $1,000,000 damage in Paleto Bay. Destroy the gas station by shooting a pump. Shoot as many vehicles to blow them up. Note: You can complete each Gold Medal requirement in multiple playthroughs of the mission. You don't need to obtain them all in one single playthrough.
