Nearly 400,000 learners failed to resume school after COVID-19 closure

Nearly half a million school going children failed to report back to school after the long covid-19 break. A study commissioned by the office of the president reveals that a staggering 125,000 boys and 250,000 girls did not return to school owing to reasons ranging from forced early marriage to lack of school fees.
