2022 Meta Lake Trip

Enjoy a recap of our 2022 Trip to Meta Lake Lodge. Meta Lake Lodge is located 600 miles north of Detroit Michigan where you board a Float plane for the final 40+ mile leg of your journey. Meta Lake is attached to Ara Lake, both of which are huge bodies of water that are filled with Walleye, Northern Pike and Perch. In our 7 days of fishing we easily boated well over 600 fish! While the fishing is great, it is only second to the quality of the accommodations and kindness of your hosts John and Cheryl who welcome you into their piece of PARADISE! While the fishing and lodge are wonderful, the icing on the cake is the beauty and serenity you will find only in the far northern region of Ontario Canada.
