Women Doctors and Healthcare Leaders [International Women's Day 2021]

Happy #InternationalWomensDay​! Today we celebrate all of the incredible women that make up Babylon. Join us as we talk to women doctors and other healthcare professionals about their experiences. We've asked them why it’s important to challenge gender bias in the health and tech industry. Their answers range from encouraging women doctors to offer insights on women patients to the talent that gets lost whenever a young woman is discouraged from working in the medical field. Our mission is to make healthcare affordable and accessible for all. To do that, we need women at the forefront, championing change and transforming the industry. From technology in healthcare all the way to patient-facing doctors, women are present in careers through the industry. Women leaders in healthcare have driven some of the most important medical developments to date. That's why we need to take the time to recognise their accomplishments. More than that, we also need to learn how we can avoid the handicap of gender bias in the future. Women have so much talent and knowledge to offer the healthcare industry.
