Peru expels North Korean ambassador in response to nuclear program

멕시코 이어 페루, 핵실험 항의로 北대사 추방…"국제평화 위협" Peru has followed Mexico's example... and has announced it is expelling North Korea's ambassador to the country. Kim Hak-chol has been declared persona non grata by the foreign ministry and has been given five days to leave Peru. Lima said North Korea has failed to respond to "constant calls" to end its nuclear program, and that it was carrying out "all diplomatic efforts to denuclearize the Korean peninsula." Mexico also expelled its North Korean ambassador last week...an action which came after U.S. Vice-President Mike Pence called on all Latin American nations to break diplomatic and commercial ties with Pyongyang.
