Now, we will conclude Ventus's story. After his game loads, Ventus prepares with plenty of healing magic. He also melds a Curaga and a Block along with a Shimmering Crystal to get a Renewal Block with Dark Screen (time 2:50). With Renewal Block, you recover HP when you successfully block head-on attacks. Also, Dark Screen provides protection against dark-elemental attacks. Note that you need at least two Block commands in stock in order to use a Block as a melding ingredient. Then, Ventus goes north to the wasteland of dead Keyblades (time 3:53). Afterwards, a lengthy sequence ensues. The first two scenes are the same as in Terra's story. Next, a different couple of scenes show in Ventus's story (time 11:15). Braig shows up to stall Aqua, and then Vanitas appears. After the scenes, Ventus has his long-awaited rematch against Vanitas (time 14:00). Most of Vanitas's attacks are similar to his others. In a new attack, Vanitas will ride the stream of Keyblades this time. Ven can use a Shotlock to knock him off. Mine Shield is an excellent way to trip Vanitas up. At the end of the battle, Ventus obtains a bonus: a Max HP increase (time 16:16). Another scene occurs next (time 16:36). At last, Vanitas is unmasked, and he explains much. In a dive to the heart, Vanitas reveals the incomplete x-blade. Ventus makes a statement very similar to one that Sora would make years later. Then, the final battle against Vanitas begins (time 20:04). Once More, Second Chance, Leaf Bracer, and plenty of curing spells will be very helpful in this battle. The very beginning is an excellent opportunity for a Shotlock. Blocking and countering a decent strategy against his physical attacks, but he has several attacks that cannot be blocked. Things will change when Vanitas gets down to 1 HP remaining (time 22:17). He and Ventus are drawn into a D-Link. This part is scripted. It is not that difficult, but Ven needs to be quick. Ventus should use deck commands against him. If they clash, swiftly rotate the left control stick as shown to push Vanitas back. If Ventus's blow lands, you will then have to enter a combo of the buttons shown. When the combo gauge is full, Ventus can end the fight by using the Last Word finisher. This is the only way to end it. The final scenes and credits from Ventus's story will play in the next video. I am placing them in their own video in case of copyright issues. Thank you for watching!
