2 Methods to Clean Your DeLonghi Espresso Machine: Naturally or Solution

In this video I'll show you how to clean your Delonghi coffee machine without using any cleaning products and using just white vinegar and water and second one with descaling solution: 🟢 Method 1: Natural Cleaning with Vinegar Step-by-step Guide: 1. Mix equal parts white distilled vinegar and water (50/50 ratio). 2. Place a Container below the group head 3. Turn on the machine, allow it to heat up. 4. Run 20-30 seconds vinegar-water solution through the brew head (as if brewing coffee without espresso grounds). 5. Next, run some solution through the steam wand again for 20-30 seconds: 6. Empty and rinse the water tank thoroughly. 7. Fill it again with fresh water only. 8. Run 2 entire water tanks with fresh water through both the brew head and steam wand (switching between the two) until the water reservoir is completely empty. 🔵 Method 2: Using Commercial Descaling Solution Step-by-step Guide: 1.Follow your chosen descaling product’s instructions to dilute properly. Typically, half a bottle or entire bottle is diluted with water, as specified on the product package. DeLonghi recommends their official descaler; however, any espresso machine-safe descaler works fine. 2.Fill the Stilosa’s water reservoir with your descaling mixture. 3. Place a Container below the group head 4. Switch on the machine, wait for it to heat. 5. Run 20-30 seconds of the descaling solution through the brew head by turning the dial to coffee mode. 6. Next, direct some solution through the steam wand by turning the lever and the main knob to the right for 20–30 seconds. 7. Turn off the machine when you have half of the solution left for about 20minutes for the solution to effectively break down any limescale and mineral build up. 8. Empty and rinse the water reservoir thoroughly. Refill it completely with clean water. 9. Run 2 entire tanks of fresh water through the machine, alternating between the brew head and steam wand to completely rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
