(1 Dec 2015) Migrants stuck at the border between Greece and Macedonia protested on Tuesday against Macedonia's implementation of tougher entry requirements. Huddling against the metal fence built by the Macedonian army, migrants held up placards reading " We are not terrorists" and called for the border to be reopened. "Help us, very cold", they chanted. Around 3,000 people remain on the Greek side of the border near the village of Idomeni, including about 1,000 Iranians and Africans whom Macedonia is not letting in. The Macedonian army built a metal fence on the country's southern border with Greece to prevent the illegal flow of economic migrants into the country. On Saturday, 18 police officers were injured after clashes broke out at the border between Macedonian police and migrants stuck on the Greek side.
