Join me for almost two hours of deep rest and restoration. This video is from a workshop I ran at the Frankston South studio and on zoom. It consists of: 16 mins - Gentle yoga stretches 16 mins - Pranayama (breathwork): Kapalbhati & Nadi shodhana 5 mins - Pranidhana Mudra (Gesture of surrender) - facilitates the release of burdens, such as old attachments and habits 70 mins - Yoga Nidra Preparation - at the beginning of this workshop (not shown here) we have a discussion about Yoga Nidra practice and do an exercise to establish our sankalpa (intention) which is a very important component of Yoga Nidra. It involves setting an intention - planting a seed at the beginning and end of the deep relaxation. I have included below a link to a helpful document on intention setting which you can view here. It was published in Australian Yoga Life and is written by Swami Poornaseva. Please take the time to decide on your intention before watching this video and practicing Yoga Nidra. https://media.wix.com/ugd/5b82a1_3c58... I hope you feel replenished and relaxed after completing this practice.
