Upon arriving, however, he is greeted by an Ultimis version of himself, whom he shoots in the head without hesitation. Fighting the zombies within the walls of the research facility, Richtofen and the others manage to contact Maxis, allowing him to understand which era and dimension they are in. INTRO DER IESENDRACHE: Having achieved their goal, the Primis abandon The Giant facility aboard a German Titan to pursue Group 935, who were transporting Ultimis Dempsey's body to the Eyrie castle, from where it would be sent to Griffin Station on the Moon. The group is unable to stop Group 935's plans and arrives at the Eyrie just as Ultimis Dempsey's body is being sent to the Moon via a missile. Dr. Groph is, in fact, continuing Ultimis Richtofen's original plan, having taken control of Group 935. Dr. Groph continues to study the pyramid on the Moon, which he believes has been corrupted by Samantha's arrival. His goal is to open it and use it to harness his power and all the undead. The Primis, however, intend to return Dempsey's body to Earth, which Richtofen needs to complete his plan. Through the Der Eisendrache facility, built by the Wolf King at the Primis' direction and containing numerous references to the Keepers and the Apothicon (?), the group manages to bring Dempsey's rocket back to Earth, but a corrupt Keeper who has escaped from the pyramid threatens to derail the plan. The Primis, armed with the Ancestral Bows, eliminate the corrupt Keeper and use the Summoning Key to harvest the soul from Ultimis Dempsey's body. But not before destroying the moon with a missile attack: Group 935 is no more. The Primis group heads to their next destination, the island of Ponphei, home to the "Rising Sun" research facility, installed there by Division 9, a team of Japanese scientists tasked by the Emperor with developing new warfare technologies. Division 9 expands its experimentation to include prisoners of war, staff members, arachnids, and mystical beasts, creating true abominations. In November 1942, Ultimis Takeo is sent by the Emperor to oversee Division 9's work on the island, which he reports in a letter to the Emperor as unacceptable. By order of the Emperor, Ultimis Takeo is imprisoned by Division 9 in July 1943 and used as a guinea pig for experiments with genetically modified plants. He remains alone on the island, now prey to zombies and bestial creatures, the fruit of Division 9's work, until October 1945, when the Primis arrive to aid him. Reaching the island of Ponphei, the Primis discover further relics linked to the world of the Keepers, such as the Skull of Nan Sapwe; Making their way through the hordes of undead, they reach the cell where Ultimis Takeo was held, where they convince him to commit seppuku for his honor, thus obtaining his soul to lock away in the summoning key. At this point, Richtofen, through a dimensional portal, leads the group to Dimension 63 to collect the blood of the Alcatraz prisoners as an "insurance policy" for the future. They return to the island before departing for their new destination.
