Newport Wedge skimboarding, May 18, 2022 with Matt Buchanan

A relatively small day at the Newport Wedge. The waves weren't giving surfers, bodyboarders and bodysurfers much to do. But skimboarders, starting with a downhill slide into the water close to the jetty, gained enough initial speed to fly along the waves, at least when everything lined up right. Skimboarder Matt Buchanan was visiting from North Carolina.
