John Stuart Mill Lecture #3

This lecture continues our discussion of Utilitarianism. We talk about some of the practical advantages that Mill believes his theory has, as well as some criticisms and Mill's responses to those criticisms. We also begin to talk about Mill's "proof" for the Principle of Utility. More discussion of that "proof" will follow in the next lecture.
