(22 Sep 2016) PRINCE WILLIAM CONDEMNS ILLEGAL WILDLIFE TRADE Britain's Prince William on Thursday (22 SEPT. 2016) said that the wildlife poaching crisis is not just about animals but a "crisis also about people." He said, "it is some of the world's poorest people who will suffer when their natural resources are stripped from them illegally and brutally. It is families in the world's most vulnerable regions who suffer when two rangers are killed every week on the frontline of this fight" He was speaking ahead of the CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) conference in Johannesburg, starting Saturday 24 September.
