Another storyline involves confronting a whole host of supervillains, such as Rhino, Electro, and Scorpion, who have formed a supervillain alliance. Furthermore, the villain Mister Negative appears as an antagonist, who, with his gang called the "Inner Demons," wants to establish himself as the city's new crime kingpin, as does Taskmaster, who has hidden bombs throughout the city that the player must defuse. This is one of numerous side missions that the player can optionally complete.
