Trying to grow a 2500lb Giant Pumpkin. Closed Captions available with extra information. EPISODE 6 - July 6th The pumpkins were pollinated from June 19th to June 25th. They grow fairly slowly to start, but then increase quickly around 2 weeks old. Before they get too big (and the 2907 Paton was pushing it) they get put on platforms for a flat, dry, clear area to grow in. They also need shade to stop from getting too hot in the sun, so they each got a pumpkin shelter. I would just cover them with a sheet directly, but they're each getting a timelapse video of their growth, so a sheet on them wouldn't make for a good video.
