Before the Solidus fight, I die intentionally to show my DMGA MMOUNT value at zero, then reload the save to actually beat Solidus and finish the game. As this is the original PC release for the game, the following modifications were used. • MGS2 V's Fix to make the game playable on modern PCs • Turbo Toggle (Allowed in speedruns primarily for the Solidus torture sequence, which lasts ~50 seconds in this release and is something I cannot physically do. I also used it as a QOL for skipping codecs / cutscenes and the swimming section. If using turbo is an issue for you, that is completely fine) • An In-Game Timer to keep pace is located in the top right of the screen. A small input display graphic is also present at the bottom of the screen for viewers to follow along. I used a customized controller layout on an Xbox Series controller, which is why my inputs will look different (ie, assigning fire weapon to right trigger).
