As the nation observed 76th anniversary of Pakistan Day on Wednesday (today),Military prowess at Pakistan Day parade 2016, Islamabad witnessed a mega event of the day where Pakistan’s defence prowess as well as rich cultural heritage was exhibited, The nation is celebrating the day 76th anniversary of Pakistan Day with a renewed pledge to make Pakistan stronger by completely wiping out the menace of terrorism, achieving sustainable economic growth and greater political stability, The day (March 23), which marks the historic event in 1940 when the Lahore Resolution was passed, demanding a separate homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent, dawned with a 31-gun salute in the Federal Capital and 21-gun salutes in provincial capitals, Pakistan Day parade, the PAF aircraft fly-past was led by Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman. The fly-past was presented by F-16 (fighter Falcon), JF-17 Thunder, F-7 PG, Mirages, F-7P, SAAB-2006 and Kurakuram Eagle AWACS aircraft, All the aircraft flew at height of 500 feet. Fighter aircraft flew at speed of 800 KM per hour. PAF fighter aircrafts were equipped with latest airborne surveillance system called AWACS which has made the country's air defence impregnable,
