Steel Ball Run: The Video Game | Hard Mode, All Levels + Secret Boss Fight Complete SPOILERS FOR STEEL BALL RUN! "This story is the tale of me starting to walk. Not in the physical sense... but in an adolescence to adulthood sort of way..." In the year 1890, a trans-American race is held for a grand prize of 50 million dollars! Gyro Zeppeli, an executioner hailing from the Kingdom of Naples, enters the race for a chance to save a young boy's life. Johnny Joestar, a former jockey turned paraplegic, accompanies him to discover the secret of Gyro's Steel Balls and the mysterious Spin that flows within them. Diego Brando, a genius British jockey eager to climb the ladders of society, joins to claim the cash prize for himself. It isn't long before the racers discover the sinister motivations behind the Steel Ball Run's secret benefactor, President Funny Valentine. Gaining psychic powers called Stands by crossing through Devil's Palms, the race turns into a vicious battle for the parts of The Holy Saint's Corpse. Whoever obtains the Holy Corpse Parts will certainly have the power to rule the world... What if Steel Ball Run was a video game? This is an idea I've had that I wanted to somehow turn into a video for a while now, and I finally got around to it. Using the five characters from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 7 available in All Star Battle R, I recorded every canon fight I could. Next, I put the fights in canonical order of Steel Ball Run, making each fight a level in a video game. Then, using various taunts with dialogue from the manga, I recreated Valentine pleading for his life in the Break My Heart, Break Your Heart chapters. Splicing these clips together, I created a cutscene that plays after the Johnny Joestar VS Funny Valentine level, which serves as the final boss for the story mode. In the manga, Alternate World Diego showing up out of nowhere is similar to a secret boss fight in a video game. Wanting to recreate this feeling, I included a Diego From Another World level that comes as a surprise after the player defeats Valentine. Finally, I recorded and edited together clips from both Eyes of Heaven and All Star Battle R to create cinematics that play both before you press play at the start of the game, and after you beat the game's story. This video has probably my most creative editing in it, so I hope you enjoy!
