COFFEE Overload! Independent Barcelona Coffee Festival 2017

For the second year, the Independent Barcelona Coffee Festival took place on May 5th and May 6th in Barcelona in the neighborhood of Poble Nou. The "Espacio 88", or "Pamplona 88" was the main hub of the festival, which included lectures, coffee "cupping" tastings, barista workshops, coffee roasting workshops, and latte art competitions. Organized by the people of AllThose.Org, numerous local and international brands were in attendance, including: Victoria Arduino Dalla Corte La Marzocco Slayer Compak Mahlkonig BWT Oatly Giesen Nomad Coffee Skye Coffee Hidden Cafe Dasler Kailani Black Remedy Cerveza Garage Cerveza Caravelle Zumos Cal Valls May 5th was the "professional" day and required a paid pass and was gear towards coffee professionals, while May 6th was open to the public. Both days, all the coffee was free! Also on May 6th was "Poble Nou Open Day 2017", which brought music, drinks, art, and food trucks to the area as well.
