GY WDG4s at full Power lift off from Makalidurga

Enjoy the beautiful sounds made by Twin v16 engines Typically a single loco can haul the entire load but due to the terrain twin locos need to fire up all their horses just to keep the load moving. Makalidurga Station lies on steep incline which continues for another 5 km. Before the departure, all the locos (trains) that are stopped here are fully powered to notch 5-6 before their brakes are released so that they wont roll back on the down gradient.
