Talk by Professor Marc Kamionkowski, Dept. of Physics Johns Hopkins University, USA at QASTM seminar

Title: Recent developments with the Hubble tension and with chiral cosmology Abstract: In this talk, I will split my time between two subjects that have interested me (and others recently): The first is the Hubble tension. I will review the discrepancy between CMB and local measurements of the cosmic expansion rate and then describe some theoretical efforts to explain it. I will then discuss recent work focussed on the idea of the search for parity-breaking effects in cosmological observables. Speaker: Professor Marc Kamionkowski, The William R.
