Storms arrive tonight with potential to be severe

Our atmosphere is priming up for thunderstorms that will likely develop ahead of a cold front this afternoon. The storms probably first fire up in western Wisconsin then race across southeast Wisconsin between 7 and 10pm. There storms have the potential to be severe with damaging straight line winds as the primary threat. Once we get through tonight, the weekend is shaping up to be fantastic. We'll see sunshine Saturday and Sunday with high temperatures in the 70s lakeside to the lower 80s inland.
