Are you struggling to collect enough Star Bits in Super Mario Galaxy 2? 🌟 Whether you’re trying to feed all the Hungry Lumas, unlock the last comet, or simply max out your Star Bit total, this guide will show you the fastest and easiest way to farm Star Bits in the entire game! After testing multiple Star Bit farming methods, I’ve found one spot that stands out above all others — the Sweet Mystery Galaxy in World 4. This galaxy offers a repeatable, low-effort loop that lets you collect up to 999 Star Bits in just a few minutes. All you need to do is reach the first checkpoint, gather all the visible Star Bits, and then simply jump off the platform to respawn and repeat the cycle. ➡️ Requirements: • Unlock Sweet Mystery Galaxy by feeding the Hungry Luma in World 4 (costs 1200 Star Bits). • A few extra lives (about 6 lives per full 999 Star Bit run). • Optional: Farm lives easily in Supermassive Galaxy by bouncing on the giant Koopas. Each loop yields roughly 65 Star Bits per life, making this the best Star Bit farm in the game once you have access to it. If you don’t yet have Sweet Mystery Galaxy unlocked, don’t worry! There’s a second-best Star Bit farm available earlier in the game — the Rolling Masterpiece Galaxy in World 3. There you can collect plenty of Star Bits near the checkpoint, jump off, and repeat until you have enough to unlock Sweet Mystery Galaxy. Many players also recommend the Melty Monster Galaxy in World 6 as a good farming spot, but in reality it’s slower and trickier.
