Our adventure trip combines overlanding, river rafting, and hiking. A group of five friends is taking a six-day outdoor trip. Half the group is driving to Bluff, Utah, and dispersed camping for two nights along the way, and the other half is flying into Durango and staying together one night before meeting at the Sand Island Campgrounds, where we're putting in the San Juan River. We have two other friends, Marley and Fizz, who will be our guides down the river for two nights and twenty-seven miles. We are expecting to hike to dwellings and learn about the ancient people who called this area home. Then we're driving home, breaking up the drive by camping one night in another National Forest. We are planning for an epic trip, and I can't wait to go on an adventure, unplug from work, and have incredible fellowship with some of my closest friends on the planet.
