Four-time Olympic champion Mo Farah claimed victory in the World Cancer Day Solidarity Challenge, as 60,000 cyclists and some of the top names across sport and entertainment took part in a virtual bike ride and joined forces in the fight to prevent millions of people from dying prematurely from the disease. As well as Farah, the likes of World and European football champion Robert Pires, Rugby World Cup winner Lawrence Dallaglio and 2018 Ballon d'Or victor Ada Hegerberg took part in the race. To raise much-needed funds for the global fight against cancer, the Union for International Cancer Control - the largest and oldest global membership organisation dedicated to the fight against cancer - teamed up with the international sports marketing agency ORSEN SA and with ZWIFT, a provider of a virtual cycling platform with over two million registered subscribers from 195 countries, to create the World Cancer Day Solidarity Challenge.
