Cheese Land (Remix) [From "Mario Kart: Super Circuit"]

Dedicated to Smg & GameGrooves. Smg had been known for always selecting this course on Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and I found out about GameGrooves’s Heat Up Cover Competition shortly after I completed my submission for Soundole’s competition. Therefore, this seemed like a fitting time to create an arrangement for more than one purpose. I wanted to improve upon my previous remix by going for a mix that was crispier, punchier, and had more sidechaining than I’ve done before. Compositionally, I also wanted to work with more layers, compression, some Dubstep elements, and utilizing numerous sounds in the chorus. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe footage in the background was recorded by myself.
