Found a setting buried in the game files that allows you to increase the amount of VRam the game can use by over twice the amount allowed in the options menu. This is the only setting that has positively made a huge difference in game. After maxing this setting out the game felt MUCH more responsive and a lot snappier, it just feels like I have a lot less input latency now that I've changed this setting.
