Record Your Own Vinyl Records at Home (with the toy record maker)

You can record your own vinyl records at home now with the Toy Record Maker kit from Gakken / Adult Science Magazine: https://gakken-mall.jp/ec/plus/sp/sli... I did some experiments with it. Recording a song from one of our albums, recording an instrument live to vinyl, and also cutting on a blank DVD instead of one of the discs it comes with. I really love this kit. It was fun to make on a rainy day with Niko. Also, the whole project was directed by our friend Yuri Suzuki. It even comes with a magazine of interviews with Jeff Mills, OK GO, Mark Mothersbaugh, Cornelius and more. Here is some more info from their site: "The sound is carved in the groove of the record board, and the sound is reproduced by the needle tracing the groove. The machine that cuts this groove is called a cutting machine. It was expensive and hard to find, so it was called a dream machine by fans. “Adult Science Magazine Toy Record Maker” is a 2 in 1 kit that allows you to experience the cutting of your dreams and adds a playback function."
