Why was Jesus baptized? did he have sin like us? why baptism for us? in this Homily, there are three main reasons why Jesus was baptized namely to sanctify, an example and inaugurate his public ministry. on this Baptism sunday, we reflect also on our owm Baptism. do we live according to our baptismal promises? indeed, baptism makes us children of God, heirs of eternal life and initiates us in to the community of believers.
