This is a smooth move for widening drawers to fit between drawer slides. I made my drawers slightly too narrow for the openings and drawer slides so I came up with an an easy and quick way to fix the problem. If you want to know how I made such a mistake you’ll have to watch the video. The drawer construction method I used is different than what most people use. It has the ends and sides of the drawers outside the drawer bottom. Pocket holes and screws are used in the drawer construction. The results is a very sturdy drawer drawer. That’s one reason I decided to use this method. I learned to make drawers this way from David Stanton in Australia on YouTube (link to video below). Now that I’m done with this section of the cabinet for my lather and grinder I can move on to making sliding trays for the third section of the cabinet.
