"They fought back in the face of evil." Chief Executive Officer of Brosnan Risk Consultants and former NYPD officer Patrick Brosnan saluted the heroic actions of congregants on Monday who fought off an attacker wielding a knife in their rabbi's home-synagogue during a Hanukkah celebration in Monsey, New York. During the briefing, Brosnan went on to say the congregants threw a coffee table at the man who wounded five during his rampage and fled "like the coward he was" in the face of mostly "elderly congregants with furniture." Police arrested a suspect in Manhattan within hours of Saturday night’s attack. Grafton E. Thomas, 37, had blood all over his clothing and smelled of bleach, according to prosecutors.
