How to Fix L2 R2 Trigger Buttons on a DualSense PS5 Controller | Replace Spring Repair Stuck Sticky
If your DualSense R2 and L2 buttons are sticking, not registering a push, pushing on their own, mushy, making an odd noise, or has a broken spring, this video shows how to resolve those issues. I go through ways of cleaning, inspecting, an replacing the various components. I also address how the insides of the controller differ when doing these repair, depending on the version of the DualSense you have (often called V1 V2 V3 V4 or Gen 1 2 3 4, or BDM 010 020 030 040). The later solutions include a partial teardowns, and I show how to tell which version you have. Note, this video does not contain specific instructions for "Edge" controllers, but most of the solutions can still be done just fine on it.
