Episode Summary: In a heartbreaking series of flashbacks, we witness how Mark and Gemma first met—bonding over a blood drive, falling deeply in love, and later struggling with infertility. Their pain leads them to a fertility clinic run by Lumon, just before Gemma’s “death.” In the present, Gemma is revealed to be living on the testing floor, subjected to disturbing experiments where she is forced to relive different unsettling experiences—each room named after the MDR files. Under the supervision of Dr. Mauer, she is studied, manipulated, and stripped of her identity. Meanwhile, Mark lies unconscious as Reghabi drops a major bombshell—Gemma is alive. She warns Devon not to trust Lumon, but leaves when Devon suggests calling Cobel for help. Desperate to escape the nightmare she’s trapped in, Gemma fights back. When she demands to leave, Mauer cruelly lies to her, claiming that Mark has moved on and remarried. This pushes her over the edge, leading her to knock out Mauer, steal his keycard, and make a desperate escape attempt. Just as she reaches the Severed Floor elevator, her identity switches back to Ms. Casey. Milchick intervenes, sending her back into the cycle of control. As Mark finally awakens, his memories of Gemma remain intact. But what happens now?
